YOUR MISSION

Our Decathlon Marketplace is a fast-growing global platform operating in 19 countries worldwide, with 2,600+ sellers. We connect sports brands, third-party sellers, and customers through a seamless digital experience, integrated into Decathlon’s e-commerce website, offering millions of products worldwide.

We are looking for a highly motivated Sustainability Project Manager, reporting to the Sustainability leader, you will be in charge of every topic related to EPR for the Marketplace and mainly the monitoring of the EPR compliance of the sellers on the Marketplace in Europe. Your implication and action will directly have an impact on the Sustainability Strategy and Results of Decathlon Marketplace and United.

1. Regulatory and risk management

Overview the EPR regulation in Europe. Your role is to apply and execute these EU regulations to secure the Marketplace from potential legal risks related to EPR compliance.
Be the single point of contact for the Marketplace sellers regarding EPR regulation, providing guidance and expertise.

2. Process automation and reporting

Responsible for the construction and implementation of an automated monitoring process for EPR.
Manage the partnership with an external EPR service provider, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment with our objectives.
Report on the EPR situation to all stakeholders, ensuring transparency and risk tracking.

3. Strategic collaboration

Work in close collaboration with teams at local and global levels (Legal, EPR Referents, Process and Tools, Seller Management, etc.) to ensure harmonized practices.
Help in defining and deploying the sustainability strategy of Decathlon Marketplace, ensuring that compliance actively contributes to our circular ambition

YOUR PROFILE

You are a sport enthusiast who uses that passion as motivation in your work. You are driven by a strong analytical mindset, demonstrating an understanding of business issues and risk analysis. You enjoy problem-solving and possess strong project management skills. Your adaptability and curiosity allow you to thrive in any environment, and your ability to present complex information clearly ensures effective collaboration.

Also, we are looking for someone who

is studying Business or law education. A specialisation in Sustainability and an interest in European law is a huge plus.
has a basic knowledge on EPR regulation and AGEC Law (France).
has strong Google Workspace and Excel skills.
is fluent in English. Speaking French and/or Dutch is a plus.
