YOUR MISSION

At Decathlon, our mission is to move people through the wonders of sport. Our greatest strength is our passion for sport and sports products. Our e-commerce website, leader in the sport goods market, is growing exponentially.

To guarantee an optimal customer journey and ensure that users find what they're looking for quickly and easily.

More concretely, based on data and analysis:

Optimize navigation: categories, tree structure, offer, filters, cross-selling, how to choose”, content, etc.

Improve SEO: Keywords research, H1, titles, meta descriptions, optimized content, internal linking, etc.

Optimize internal search engine: relevance of search results.

Implementation of commercial actions: depending on the period, seasonality and communication plan, promotion of certain products and services via emailing, bannering, etc.

Performance and KPI analysis: traffic, conversion rate, average basket, sales figures, etc.

Development of web pages: Depending on needs and new developments, you will have to create or modify pages with creativity, or even modify the homepage with seasonal changes.

YOUR PROFILE

Minimum 3-month internship
Possibility to work remotely
University or high school student in one of the following fields: digital marketing, e-commerce or equivalent.
You're a keen sportsman/woman and play one or more sports at any level.
You're interested in digital marketing and e-commerce, and motivated by the idea of taking concrete action.
You have an analytical mind
You have strong communication and connexion skills
You have basic knowledges of Content Management Systems, Analytics tools, Google Ads
You're motivated, dynamic and proactively bring new ideas to the table.
You should speak at least French and be able to speak Dutch or English. It doesn’t have to be perfect what matters is that you’re improving (English is the most widely spoken)

An internship in Brussel (Evere) with possibly of using the sports facilities at the Evere head office ( fitness room, ping pong tables, mini soccer pitch, etc)
