We need a rigorous teammate with a sharp eye for VAT and fiscal compliance to ensure our accounts are flawless. Do you love clarity and want to improve the way we work? This role is for you.

Here’s what you will do on a daily basis:

Mastering the accounts: Record and control financial transactions to ensure accurate and reliable accounts.
Managing Tax & VAT compliance: Act as the internal expert for VAT declarations, fiscal reporting, and ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.
Closing with excellence: Actively participate in the monthly and annual closing of accounts, focusing on balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
Ensuring 100% compliance: Guarantee that all processes follow both local accounting rules and group fiscal standards.
Driving process improvement: Propose new ways of working and contribute to the constant improvement of our financial and tax reporting tools.
Advising the business: Act as a key partner for your stakeholders, helping them understand the figures and the fiscal impact of their projects.

You are organized and manage your priorities to meet important deadlines. With a strong team spirit, you collaborate and communicate easily with everyone. You enjoy continuous learning to stay up-to-date in accounting and on new tools.

You have good problem-solving abilities and are solution-oriented.

Moreover,

you have obtained a degree in Finance or Accounting
you have a strong background in Taxation.
you speak Dutch and/or French . Fluency in English is a significant asset for international collaboration.

You will work full time from our headquarters in Evere. You know how to be flexible, as there are key moments, such as the closing period.
You define your own development plan to progress in your role.
