YOUR MISSION

As Business Controller for Decathlon Marketplace, you will work closely with the CFO and CEO, integrating various growth levers and ensuring their effective application across different markets. Additionally, they will support local teams in budget preparation, ensure financial alignment, and contribute to strategic decision-making through data-driven insights.

We are looking for a Business Controller to support the growth of an innovative business model in the marketplace sector. This strategic role is crucial in ensuring the convergence of the group’s management rules into a coherent and scalable financial framework, capable of supporting the business expansion across multiple countries.

Steering financial growth: Define and standardize financial rules to help our business scale across multiple countries.
Guiding the budget: Support local teams in preparing their budgets and ensure they follow the group's strategy.
Managing performance: Monitor financial results, identify gaps, and propose smart actions to improve profitability.
Overseeing reporting: Own the financial reporting process to provide clear and actionable insights for top management.
Supporting the closing: Work with the Finance Controller during monthly and annual closings to ensure data accuracy.
Partnering with stakeholders: Act as a trusted advisor for operational teams to align financial and business objectives.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for a dynamic teammate who is curious, autonomous, and loves solving problems with data. As a strong communicator, you build great relationships with diverse stakeholders and enjoy influencing a large-scale environment. You use a data-driven approach to make decisions and solve complex issues.

Moreoever,

You have 3 to 5 years of experience in financial controlling or FP&A in an international environment.
You master P&L management, forecasting, and financial modeling.
You are proficient with ERP systems and reporting tools like Power BI or SAP.
You are fluent in English and speak either French or Dutch.

You work full-time in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
You are based at our headquarters in Evere, working with both local and international teams.
