Business Applications Manager - Decathlon Marketplace

The Decathlon Marketplace is our vibrant ecosystem, connecting sports enthusiasts with a wide range of products, services, and solutions from our partner sellers.

Our Business Applications team is the engine behind this success. Our mission ? To create and optimize reliable and innovative tools (like Pipedrive, Zendesk, and Retool) to elevate the end-to-end user experience. We are the bridge between business and technology, and we're looking for our next Business Applications Manager!

Project & Strategic Initiatives Management

• Manage end-to-end digital projects, overseeing design, implementation, and change management.
• Lead the adaptation and implementation of tools and processes to support the marketplace's global expansion.
• Drive optimization projects for core business systems (e.g., our seller support and CRM platforms) to boost efficiency and user experience.
• Design, develop, and launch new tools and features that address evolving business needs and improve the seller lifecycle.

Tool Ecosystem Optimization & Automation

• Manage and optimize our core tool ecosystem, including platforms like Pipedrive, Zendesk, and Retool.
• Develop and maintain automations using low-code and no-code platforms to connect applications and streamline workflows.
• Build custom internal applications and dashboards to provide actionable insights and empower operational teams.

Process, Data & Change Management

• Serve as the bridge between business and technical teams, aligning strategic objectives with practical technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy across all integrated business applications.
• Create and maintain clear documentation for both technical processes and end-user training.
• Conduct training sessions to ensure effective tool adoption and adherence to best practices.
• Provide ongoing user support to ensure smooth daily operations for internal teams.

You are a proactive problem-solver with a passion for building and optimizing digital solutions. As a fast and curious learner, you possess a strong analytical mindset and the ability to find creative solutions. You are an adaptable, autonomous, and detail-oriented individual who thrives on challenges. As a genuine sports enthusiast, you have a passion for our products and our mission.

In addition to these essential qualities, you have:

• a degree from a business or engineering school.
• maximum 5 years of work experience.
• mastery of Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).
• knowledge of Python and JavaScript. Knowledge of SQL is a significant plus!
• fluency in English (all our communications and meetings are in English). French and/or Dutch are a plus.
